I don’t get many questions, but I figured that if you’re getting advice from me on where to eat, you may be wondering who I am. I find FAQ form to be most convenient, so I’ll use that (although no one ever asks me anything).
What is EatLoveNY.com?
This is my food journal, which I’ve kept since the beginning of the summer (of 2011).
What camera do you use?
A simple iPhone 4S camera or a Canon t2i.
How do you determine where to go next?
I have this list/map (available in the sidebar). My criterion for selecting places to eat is that it must be two of three: cheap, high-rated, or highly recommended.
How do you determine what to order when you pick a place to go?
I do a lot of research on what that place does best and what the favorite item is. If I enjoy it, I explore more of the menu on my own.
What do you do for a living?
I wish I did this for a living. I work for a start-up (which is just as fun actually).
Where are you from?
I was born and raised in Manhattan, Lower East Side (the best place for someone like me).
What’s your favorite thing to eat/drink?
Click on the ★★★★★ in the sidebar to see. I like good coffee, tea, and try to avoid ordering “just water” at restaurants (unless there isn’t anything worth drinking). I try finding the “best” of every category and trying it out. I don’t like answering this question; there’s just too much good food out there to narrow myself down to a “favorite.”
How fat are you?
What’s your favorite site?
What’s your favorite part about food blogging?
Meeting the owners and chatting with them about their business. There’s always a good story behind everything you’re eating.
Can you cook?
I wish I could. The best I can do is a bowl of cereal.
Can you do anything else besides eat?
Nope, just eating. I don’t even do that very well either. Just ask me about what I’m allergic to.
Do you get hungry looking at your blog?
Yes, all the time. How did you know?
How should I read your blog?
Use my map in the sidebar, bookmark me, and read regularly. If you see something that piques your interest, go for it.
How can I contact you?
You should leave a comment (you don’t need a WordPress account to do this!). But if you insist, try info[@]eatloveny.com. (To avoid bots spamming me, I had to format the address like that).
Thanks for following and I hope some of what you read is useful.
